Nissan Titan King Cab (2008.5) Review
Nissan is a major auto manufacturer that is widely respected both at home in Japan and here in the states. As such, it's no surprise that they have broken into the largely American dominated fullsize pickup market. The 2008 Nissan Titan King Cab (2008.5) is a slightly updated model from last year's Titan, however the improvements are largely unnoticeable. The king cab is smaller than the crew cab by quite a bit, and as such is not the option to go with if you need room for a family, however if you are looking for more bed space, then the king cab is the way to go, offering 6.6 feet or 8 feet depending on the option you go with. This is a full one foot longer than the bed on the crew cab model. Under the hood is a 5.6 liter V8, which offers 317 horsepower. The engine gets 12 mpg in city and 17 highway, with a 5 speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The titan competes with the Ram and the F-150 nicely, and is worth a look if you don't need a heavier duty truck like the F-350 or Ram 3500. Give it a try!
