Nissan Titan Crew Cab (2008.5) Review

Fullsize pickup trucks are typically produced by American companies. This is mainly because the pickup truck is something that Americans desire strongly, and as such foreign developers have a hard time breaking into the fullsize market. The 2008 Nissan Titan Crew Cab (2008.5) attempts to do this, and does it quite well. The Titan is available in multiple trims, but the crew cab is the way to go if you need a four door pickup. It does however, pay for increased passenger capabilities by only having a 5.5 foot or 7 foot bed, a foot shorter then on the king cab model. Bed size aside, the cabin is comfortable and spacious, and will surely meet your standards. Like many trucks, each trim type comes in three levels, offering varying levels of luxury. The engine in the Titan is a 5.6 liter V8, which produces 317 horsepower. Fuel economy clocks in at 12 mpg in city and 17 mpg on highway. The transmission is a standard 5 speed automatic. The 2008.5 features a few updates for 2008 from last year's model. While the Titan doesn't offer quite as much power as some domestic fullsize trucks, it is a great vehicle and a viable option for you if you are looking for a lower powered fullsize.
