Mitsubishi Raider Review
For the most part, Mitsubishi is known for it's sporty cars and SUVs. They do, however, have a solid entry in the small pickup market. These days the 2008 Mitsubishi Raider is the company's entry in the pickup market, which is a midsize model. The truck looks sharp, and fits in with Mitsubishi's other vehicles nicely, however, this truck does lack power when compared to most other midsize trucks. There is also a lack of a long bed option, creating another reason to look at a Toyota Tacoma or a Nissan Frontier instead. For those still interested in the Raider, it comes in two styles, a crew and extended cab. The crew cab has four full size doors, but the extended cab features a longer bed. The extended cab has a 3.7 liter V6 engine that puts out 210 horsepower. The crew cab, however, has either a 3.7 V6 or a 4.7 liter V8, the V6 has a four speed automatic and the V8 comes with a five speed automatic. Four wheel drive only comes on the Double Cab LS trim option. All in all, this may not be the best option when it comes to a midsize pickup, but it's not the worse either, so give it a look and see if it's for you.
