Lincoln Mark LT Review
Lincoln has tried in the past to create a luxury pickup truck. The Blackwood of several years ago was an attempt to enter the pickup market by this luxury company. While the Blackwood had some interesting features, it was not quite luxurious enough for it's price tag, and quickly fell by the wayside. The same cannot be said of the 2008 Lincoln Mark LT, Lincoln's current entry to the Luxury pickup market. Largely similar to the Ford F-150, the Mark LT is not the best luxury pickup out there, but it warrants a look if one can't afford a truck like the Cadillac Escalade EXT. You can only get the Mark LT as a full size crew cab, however there is a 5.5 foot bed or a 6.5 foot bed available. The interior is nice, featuring leather seating, wood trim, and heated seats. The audio system allows for mp3/cd audio and satellite radio. Finally, a rear seat dvd entertainment center is an option. Powering the Mark LT is a 5.4 liter V8 that puts out 300 horses, and 365 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes with a four speed automatic. Also, two and four wheel drive options are available.
