GMC Trucks 2009
GMC is not quite as popular as Ford or Chevy, but there are still a ton of GMC trucks on the road. They may not be extremely popular, but they are great machines. GMC has many different models, and each gets at least average gas mileage. Almost every GMC truck has incredible towing capabilities, and they all have large cabs that comfortably seat many people. The most popular GMC truck is most likely the Sierra. The Sierra comes in an amazing 19 different varieties, which range from the low $20,000's to the mid $40,000's. It is doubtful that any other truck out there comes in so many different varieties. The Sierra is available in 1500, 2500 and 3500 forms, and is also available in a number of different cab sizes. The versatility of this truck makes it perfect for almost any person. Another great GMC truck is the Canyon. The GMC Canyon comes in both 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive, and it too can be purchased with different cab sizes. The standard Canyon is the Canyon Crew Cab 2WD. This GMC truck gets 18 MPG city and 24 MPG highway - which is pretty good for its class. As far as price - it varies depending on the cab size and other variables. However, the standard Canyon starts at about $22,000 and goes up from there. There are a few spin-off type models of other GMC trucks, but the Canyon and the Sierra are the main ones and most popular. Each model has millions of trucks on the road, and since GMC trucks last so long, you can consistently see trucks from 5, 10, even 15 years ago still driving around today. GMC is a great company and they make great trucks. I expect them to be around for quite some time.
