GMC Sierra 1500 Review
GMC has long been a part of the pickup truck world, and the 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 is the perfect example of their excellent quality and design. The Sierra used to be the luxury line of GMC's main hauling line, but now serves as the title of the main fullsize pickup offered by the automotive giant. The Sierra is available with a wide variety of body styles, such as regular, extended and crew cab. The trim levels also range from spartan, work oriented models all the way up to the luxurious Denali. At any rate, this is a great truck. Older iterations of the Sierra have been criticized for their interiors, this is not the case with the new Sierra, the interior is lush and stands strong against other full size pickups. The engine choices include a 4.3 liter, 195 horsepower V6, a 6.2 liter, 403 horsepower V8, a 4.8 liter, 295 horsepower V8 or a 5.3 liter, 315 horsepower V8. All the models feature a four speed automatic. Rear and four wheel drive options are also available. In essence, this is a great truck for someone wanting the power of a fullsize pickup, but who doesn't need the raw power of a bigger engine, for that, the 2500 and 3500 are the best choice.
