GMC Savana Review
Full size vans tend to get lost in the world of SUVs, minivans and crossovers, but the GMC Savana but full size vans are still important for large families, business owners, or other consumers that need to transport a lot of stuff or a large group of people. The 2008 GMC Savana Cargo Van is a great option for those looking for tough and roomy vans for their fleet or driveway. At any rate, the wheelbase can be ordered in half-ton or full ton configurations, numbered 1500 and 3500 respectively. The two trim models are the LS and LT, with the LS being more spartan and the LT designed for more comfort. The 1500 comes standard with a 5.3 liter V8, which puts out 295 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque. The 3500 has a 6.0 liter V8 putting out 300 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque. Both engines feature a four speed automatic transmission, and rear wheel drive or all wheel drive options are available. Inside, the Savana can seat 8-15 people, depending on the model you are driving, and while the interior isn't perfect, it is suitable considering this is a full size van.
