Ford Trucks 2009
Whether you are looking for an everyday car with decent gas mileage, or a bulky truck that can tow tons of weight, there is a Ford truck for you. Ford is the most popular truck manufacturer in the United States, and they produce a quality vehicle. Their normal cars are good too, but Ford has always specialized in trucks. Perhaps the most popular of all the Ford trucks is the Ford F150. This is the standard in the truck world. The F150 is a mid-sized truck, bigger than the Ranger, but smaller than the other models. The F150 is popular mostly because of its versatility and its relatively low price. This Ford truck starts at around $21,000, and gets about 14-21 MPG. This truck can seat up to 6, but 4-5 is more comfortable. The F150 is one of the best selling trucks of all time, and there are literally millions of them on the road. If you see 5 trucks in a day, chances are at least one of them is a Ford F150. The Ranger is a much smaller Ford truck, but it can still tow a fair amount. The Ranger is also popular because it is cheap, and because it gets great gas mileage. This Ford truck gets approximately 15-26 MPG (higher than most in its class), and MSRP's for around $17,000. Some consider the Ranger a "lightweight" truck, but it can pull its weight - no pun intended. The Ranger has been tested to tow up to 3 tons, or 6,000 lbs. The F series of Ford trucks is the most popular. The F150 is the #1, and it is followed by the F250 Super Duty, the F350 Super Duty, and the Super Duty 450. All of the later trucks can tow insane amounts, with the 450 boasting a max towing weight of 16,000-24,500 lbs.
