Ford F-450 Review

F-series pickups have long been a symbol of power, strength, reliability and consumer friendliness for Ford. The line has survived for 60 years, and in that time has matured into America's favorite truck. This stays true with the current F-line, and the 2008 F-450 is the meanest of the mean, toughest of the tough, in this lineup of trucks. Other F-series pickups are great, but only one has the raw power to handle anything, and that's the F-450. This truck is not for those who are simply transporting a family, or pulling a camper, this truck is for those who need absolute power at a construction site, or other hardcore, heavy duty setting. The F-450 offers a crew cab body style with an 8 foot bed and dually rear set up, meaning that it has dual wheels in the back for greater control when towing. The three trims, XL, XLT and the Lariat, offer varying levels of interior luxury, with the Lariat being the most luxurios of the three and the XL being fairly barebones. Under the hood, you get a 6.4 liter turbodiesel V8 putting out 350 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.
