Ford F-150 Review
The Ford F-series is legendary, being the pickup, even overall vehicle, of choice in the United States for decades. Many consumers don't even bother with shopping around, instead they go right to the Ford F-150, the lightest of the vehicles in the the F-series currently. This is a vehicle that can tow or haul just about any load you can produce. While blindly purchasing a F-150 is not advisable, it's probably the best choice as it stands right now. There are multiple trim choices, ranging from the spartan XL, to the more popular XLT, which offers the best value and options. The current iteration of the F-150 dates back to 2004, and soars right into 2008 as the best F-150 yet. That's not to say it is a perfect truck, however, as criticisms have been made on the trucks mediocre acceleration and braking, as well as somewhat limited storage space. There are three engines available, a 202 horsepower 4.2 liter V6, a 231 horsepower 4.6 liter V8 and a 300 horsepower 5.4 liter V8. All of them offer four speed automatic transmissions, with the V6 also offering a five speed manual. In essence, this is one of the best trucks ever made, and a great buy for the serious trucker.
