Dodge Ram 2500 Review
For over ten years the Dodge Ram has been a staple of the fullsize pickup truck market. You see a ram and know you are dealing with a serious truck, and the 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 is no different. Falling into the mid range of power on the Ram line, the 2500 is a great fullsize pickup that will get the job done in style. It is styled to look like a semi, and it works well for this behemoth of a truck. The truck comes in two wheel or four wheel drive, and can be purchased with a regular cab, quad cab, or mega cab, the standard cab configurations for the Ram line. The mega cab only offers a short bed option, at 76 inches, however the regular cab comes only in long bed at 98 inches, the quad cab offers either bed option. The standard engine option is a 5.7-liter V8 that puts out 245 horsepower and 375 lb-ft of torque. This option comes in six speed manual or five speed automatic. There is also a turbodiesel option that is a 5.9-liter turbodiesel producing 325 horsepower and 610 lb-ft of torque, this option comes as a four speed automatic.
