Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Review
The Chevrolet Silverado is the workhorse of Chevy's pickup line. It has long been a mainstay on the pickup truck market, popular with business owners, farmers, and construction workers for decades. The one criticism found in most people's minds was the over abundance of plastic in the cabin. In other words, there was a lack of comfort and eloquence when it came to the interior of the truck. All that changed in 2007, when the truck was updated to meet the standards of today's consumer. The interior is now much more comfortable and appealing, with much more wood and leather found where plastic used to be. There are many Selverado 1500 models, ranging from a no-frills work version all the way up to a luxury version, but the quality of the truck really remains the same. The truck is available in regular, extended and crew-cab. The engine choices feature a 4.3 liter 195 horsepower V6 and 6 liter V8 with 367 HP in some cases, more common, however are the 295 HP 4.8 liter V8s and the 315 HP 5.3 liter V8. Rear and four wheel drive is available. In any case, the Silverado is one of the best pickups on the market.
