Chevrolet Avalanche Review
The Chevy Avalanche is the cream of Chevy's full size pickup crop. This is a pickup truck for those in need of a lot of carrying capacity, whether it be people or cargo. For starters, the truck is a 4 door machine, which has plenty of seating room, comparable to that of an SUV, seating up to 6 passengers. The Avalanche is available in models ranging from an LS 2WD to a LTZ 4WD model. The LS 2WD model features a standard 5.3-liter V8 engine, that puts out 320 HP. Being a pickup, the truck gets 15-mpg in city and 21-mpg highway. The LTZ 4WD features a standard 5.3-liter V8 that puts out 310 horsepower, getting 11-mpg in city and 15-mpg highway. All models are automatic. Avalanche has long been a standard of Chevy's line of pickups, and this year is no different, it's a great choice for those looking for space for people and cargo, as the rear cab section can be modified to offer more bed space. Ultimately you would do well with an Avalanche, unless you need a lot of bed space, if this is the case you might be better off with more work oriented trucks.
